Fiery Cuban rhythms sounded in the club of ICF "Jewish Hesed "Bnei Azriel"

When we were thinking about inviting performers of Cuban music to Hesed, we thought that Cuban theme is something trendy and cool, quite specific, but attractive to any listener. For the Jewish, too. Unhesitatingly we invited to perform at us "Trio Havana" group – the young, but gaining popularity in the Ukrainian music scene... And they came...Oh, vey! How wrong we were! Literally from the first notes it became clear that the audience not only perceived well the Cuban and Latin American rhythms, but also knew some songs by heart! However, what was the surprise? Indeed, among the wards of ICF "Jewish Hesed "Bnei Azriel" there are a lot of artistic intelligentsia representatives. And how many of them are musicians! Therefore, we should not be surprised that at the concert happened something characteristic to hot South affairs – there occurred passion. Meaning, the audience with all the passion fell in love with the original Cuban music, silver voices of singers and, of course, in the inviting guitar sounds. All that was heard on our stage on a cold January day was born long ago under the hot sun of the plantations, rum-soaked golden ports, brown cigars and a light rustic Soroa. The history of Cuban music goes back to ancient times. However, this fact is a paradox that Cuban music, born not so long ago in comparison with other styles of music and being a child of European and African music, with blinding speed grew into an independent musical and dance styles.Cuba is famous for its dances – the hot salsa, sensual rumba, cha-cha-cha, mambo, bolero, danson... the popularity of Cuban rhythms grows every year. There appear new groups, playing Cuban music with inspiration. So our guests were the musicians who have already worked for 5 years in this direction. But musicians were also very special: Ukrainian-Cuban band! After a 4-year contract with the famous Kiev restaurant "La Bodeguita del Medio", one of the members of the group "Trio Cuba" comes to the idea of maintaining Cuban music in Ukraine in the team of the new format that would bring together the Cuban and Ukrainian musicians. This was easily fulfilled, because in Ukraine there are a lot of great artists, who feel and love Latin rhythms. The new group, which became known as "Trio Havana ", performs cha-cha-cha, son, which is nowadays referred to as salsa, bolero and other types of Latin music. With the entry of violins, the group can work in multiple formats and even turn into a Quartet. Special musical gourmets will find a female voice in a trio - Natalia Hernandez Milian. All members of the group are talented and professional, love their job and give an unforgettable experience to all lovers of Latin-American rhythms by their performance.Director and founder of group – Rolando Hernandez Milian, guitarist and vocalist, and Natalia Hernandez Milian, a singer who plays the maracas, presented to our listeners the whole range of works which have become classics, and also pleased an audience with the new songs. The enthusiastic audience rewarded them with applause again and again...ICF "Jewish Hesed "Bnei Azriel" is thankful to the wonderful musicians for providing moments of joy, smiles and shining eyes of our wards. We are looking forward to welcome you again, dear friends! And we also invite to our stage other musical groups. Come and kindle the hearts of your fans!
